the legitimate files will be opened properly, but
the unknown type will be opened in a new floating
window.
Comment 1 Marian Mirilovic 2003-11-25 13:06:23 UTC
I cann't reproduce in new trunk build [nb_dev](200311241900), by the
way there is a new window system, and this issue is maybe filed
against build with old window system.

David, can you explain build version/number ?
Thanks in advance.
Comment 2 Peter Zavadsky 2003-11-25 14:14:14 UTC
It seems it is old window system, please confirm, and next time file
such issues to windosystem_1 subcomponent.
Comment 3 Marian Mirilovic 2003-11-26 12:32:59 UTC
We are still waiting for your feedback - reassigne to new window
system - just for hold issue opened.
Comment 4 Peter Zavadsky 2003-11-28 12:34:11 UTC
Judging it is an old window system. The new one if in 'compact' mode,
doesn't support floating windows at all.
Anyway it seems it is a problem of openfile.
Reassignig component.
Comment 5 David-john Burrowes 2003-12-01 21:13:55 UTC
I agree, it doesn't happen with the new window system.
I'm closing this
