In the "Find in Files" dialog there is a "Search
Results"
area where matching filenames are shown.  They are
shown
as Explorer nodes and you open them up and see
Fields, 
Constructors, etc.

I don't see the value of using Explorer nodes. 
The task
is to search for strings.

It seems like there is more value in combining the
"Search Results" and the "Position within the Files".
With this suggestion, the files would be listed in
Search Results and, when expanded, would show the text
of all the matching lines (see issue 33717).

I totally agree with the proposed solution. I will discuss it with a
