Bug 32662

Summary: ClassPath UI cannot re-add a resource from the project itself
Product: java Reporter: Svata Dedic <sdedic>
Component: UnsupportedAssignee: Chris Ledantec <cledantec>
Status: CLOSED FIXED
Severity: blocker
Priority: P1
Version: 3.x
Hardware: Other
OS: Linux

Issue Type: DEFECT Exception Reporter:

Description Svata Dedic 2003-04-07 06:28:33 UTC
See text below Figure 39: "Clicking Add... from any of the panels
opens the New Resource Wizard".

New Resource Wizard introduces a resource into the project. In the
case that a resource is removed from [some] ClassPath Customizer,
the user has no UI to re-add it back, since "Add..." button only allows
to create new resources (and add it to the list as a part of the
process).

Justification for P1: This part was already implemented *according to
the UI spec*.
Comment 1 Chris Ledantec 2003-04-07 16:34:07 UTC
i'm going to call this fixed -the spec has an update for this problem,
see bug 32677. the spec revision will go out later this week.
Comment 2 Svata Dedic 2003-04-07 16:39:38 UTC
Rather a duplicate than a fix. BTW the mentioned issue 32677 is not
done (so this one is not as well) and in addition the UI suggested there
seems based around incorrect assumptions/misunderstood model.
Comment 3 Jan Becicka 2003-11-25 14:04:25 UTC
As described in
http://www.netbeans.org/servlets/ReadMsg?msgId=619519&listName=nbdiscuss the
current work on projects prototype has been stopped.
