Started investigation. It seems that for some unknown reason Swing doesn't understand single-quotes: Such META is not recognized: <META http-equiv='content/type' content='text/html; charset=windows-1251'> And double-quotes META is OK! <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=windows-1251"> Now works fine, tested on my russian win XP, however with OS language and country settings set to English(USA).
