Product Version = NetBeans IDE 8.2 (Build 201609300101)
Operating System = Windows 7 version 6.1 running on amd64
Java; VM; Vendor = 1.8.0_112
Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 25.112-b15

Reproducibility: Happens sometimes, but not always

STEPS:
  * Run NetBeans just fine for days.
  * Undock laptop from docking station
  * Find that NetBeans is no longer running

ACTUAL:
  Unexpected stop.  Anything not saved is lost.

EXPECTED:
  It should stay up.  Unsaved changes should be kept.

I never had a problem with previous NetBeans versions.
Reproducibility is somewhere around 50% of the time.
