Description sidtj 2016-05-12 19:56:49 UTC
Hi,

I know this version is a DEV one, but it is almost *unusable* because any error makes the ide stop working (mouse changes for 'waiting' and nothing more can be clicked or closed, only xkill to 'fix' this problem) AND this version is throwing so many errors (when CTRL+E, when TABbing, when selecting a autocompletion option)... this is very very annoying. In a single day (yesterday) it crashed about 8 times!! In fact, this own report I would not able to make inside the IDE in first time. Not even closing and reopening it I was able to send the bug (needed to report here in the website). I would like to help but I am a WEB programmer not a desktop one.

Why I need use just a DEV version? Answer: PHP 7. When we have a 8.2 stable, I probably will not use the DEV version anymore.

If it there`s something more I can could provide to help let me know please.

Product Version = NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 201604120001)
Operating System = Linux version 4.4.0-22-generic running on i386
Java; VM; Vendor = 1.8.0_60
Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 25.60-b23

Seems to me to be a general problem, not a PHP specific one.

@reporter: Please, _always_ attach at least the IDE log [1] (once the problem occurs). Also, it is a good idea to try a clean userdir [2], this helps sometimes (especially for dev versions).

Thanks.
