Description aayushgoyal 2016-04-15 05:26:10 UTC
I have downloaded and installed Netbeans 8.1 on Windows 10 x64 platform.
It installed normally without any problems but after installation when I started the IDE it started normally with that red loading line but as soon as it shows that 'Turning modules on' the IDE's startup screen immediately vanishes and nothing happens. I have tried starting it again and again but nothing happens.

I have also tried installing and running Netbeans 8.1 RC2 but same thing happened with it too. Installation was normal but it didn't start after that.

Please tell me what to do!

Please, attach messages.log file. It is located in your userdir.
But if the IDE closes without any warning it may indicate JVM crash. In such case please search for hs_err_pidX file (X is number of java process). It should be located in your home dir or in temp dir. It may indicate where is the problem.
