Unfortunately, I cannot reproduce the problem. Does your Java Platform use remote Javadoc (see Tools->Java Platforms->Platform Javadoc)?

This is working now in Dev and 8.1 RC. It started working after this was fixed: https://netbeans.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=255611
