For my projects i use git as version control system. I use it from console but do diffs in NetBeans. Usually i ignore white spaces in diffs but sometimes i need them included in a diff.

A way to turn off/on white space ignoring is "Tools -> Options -> Miscellaneous -> Diff" and there is checkbox.
It would be very helpful in terms of usability to have a button in Diff View to turn it on/off instead of opening options window each time you need to change it.
