Created attachment 154367 [details] netbeans with subpixel rendering showing distorted labels When using subpixel antialiasing as implemented in openjdk9, labels are rendered twice resulting in bloted / thick labels. See enclosed screenshot, labels that are rendered twice are at the left vertical and bottom border.
