IDE log
Reproducible Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 201503160001) Java: 1.8.0_40; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 25.40-b25 Runtime: Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment 1.8.0_40-b25 System: Linux version 3.13.0-35-generic running on i386; UTF-8; en_US (nb) Assigning to Roman. Thanks. 1. Such commenting would result in an invalid code: JS placed directly in the HTML and ending </script> tag without opening <script> tag. 2. If you comment out </script> and then toggle comment on the same line, you are inside JS embedding, therefore current behavior (comment the line using JS comment) is expected and correct. |
