Description codeslinger_compsalot 2014-07-10 19:59:29 UTC
Product Version = NetBeans IDE 8.0 (Build 201403101706)
Operating System = Linux version 3.13.0-30-generic running on amd64
Java; VM; Vendor = 1.7.0_55
Runtime = OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM 24.51-b03

I am using your ide for programming in alternative languages. Even though you have great support for languages that are on your list
it is somewhat awkward to use for things that are not on your list, or even assembly which only has partial support.

It would be great is I could define custom shell commands for Build and Run
this would make it a lot easier to use with other languages.

If that functionality is already there then it is well hidden and you need to increase it's discoverability.

This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.

Thanks for your cooperation,
