Here is a little description from the help page of intelliJ: IntelliJ IDEA allows you to work with several projects simultaneously, each one in a separate window. The projects are independent, and cannot share information, except for the Clipboard operations. All the projects run in the same instance of IntelliJ IDEA and use the same memory space. I think that would be help, because of Go to File works Projects independent too and if I have opened 8 projects, Go to file will search in each project which is a pain in the ass. So for netbeans it would be great if we have dependent projects, we can open it in the same window, if not, open it in an other window and don't search inside these projects, for example Go to file. If you have symlinks than it is so. |
