Tried your steps with 8.0 and Build 20140328-b6f5584d3aab with jdk7u51 and jdk8. I am sorry but I cannot reproduce. Apply button is deactivated as expected. This is strange, because it does not happen on 2 other computers (Windows 7 64-bit and Windows XP 32-bit), but it still happens on my main laptop. I just installed a newer dev build and the same thing occurs. Note that also, checking an options and using the apply button in options today caused issue 243370 and issue 217886. Also, issue 242599 occurs on this computer still but not on my other 2 computers. Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 201404040001) Updates: Updates available Java: 1.8.0; Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 25.0-b70 Runtime: Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment 1.8.0-b132 System: Windows 7 version 6.1 running on amd64; Cp1252; en_US (nb) (In reply to MackSix from comment #2) > This is strange, because it does not happen on 2 other computers (Windows 7 > 64-bit and Windows XP 32-bit), but it still happens on my main laptop. Closing for now. Please reopen if you are able to figure out what is triggering this behavior in your laptop but not in the other machines. Thank > you It seems to be working now for me too on the same machine, but I re-installed my system and for some reason it works now. It is possibly due to some corruption on my SSD drive that was causing me some problems with Chrome locking up the computer on first startup. |
