Currently the editing is serialized. The callback would need to say which file was done, however.

The -wait option is not currently supported, so this enhancement is not
currently applicable. If the -wait option returns, please re-evaluate this
enhancement again. See also issue #2422 ("Open File's -wait option should be
more robust").
