NB version/build number, JDK version ... messages.log file ... exact ssteps to reproduce ... please follow http://wiki.netbeans.org/IssueReportingGuidelines and report the bug again. Thanks in advance. Product Version: NetBeans IDE 8.0 Beta (Build 201401091443) Java: 1.8.0-ea; Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 25.0-b63 Runtime: Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment 1.8.0-ea-b121 System: Mac OS X version 10.9.1 running on x86_64; UTF-8; en_US (nb) Exact Steps: 1. From the Start page "Learn and Discover" tab, click "Try a Sample Project" Thats all. The resulting dialog looks like the attachment I am about to add. Created attachment 143912 [details]

New information from NB Build 201402010001 The "Samples" node is off the bottom the first time I go to that dialog by pressing "Try a Sample Project", but if I press Cancel and then click "Try a Sample Project" again, then the expanded Samples node is shown at the top of the list. core-main ac4f533c2404 Integrated into 'main-silver', will be available in build *201402070001* on http://bits.netbeans.org/dev/nightly/ (upload may still be in progress) Changeset: http://hg.netbeans.org/main-silver/rev/ac4f533c2404 User: S.
