The page at https://netbeans.org/kb/samples/index.html is VERY old and as a result contains inaccuracies.

For example, JavaFX Composer is deprecated as of JavaFX2, and thus everything contained in that heading should be deleted or referenced as deprecated, e.g. these should be deleted:

JavaFX Composer:
Sample: Hello World for JavaFX Composer 
Sample: RESTful Data Source
Database Client:
Sample: A css stylesheet
Sample: DB client application
Sample: Image (An image for the DB project)
fxd-tutorial:
Sample: Using JavaFX Graphic Resources
Sample: Logo image

Some of the other samples may have similar issues and should be checked!
