Bug 239746

Summary: "Show only editor" keymapping does not work
Product: platform Reporter: kimsp <kimsp>
Component: Window SystemAssignee: Stanislav Aubrecht <saubrecht>
Status: NEW ---
Severity: normal
Priority: P3
Version: 8.0
Hardware: Macintosh
OS: Mac OS X
Issue Type: DEFECT Exception Reporter:

Description kimsp 2013-12-23 19:49:03 UTC
[ BUILD # : 201312230002 ]
[ JDK VERSION : 1.7.0_45 ]

STEPS:
   * Open a file in the editor
   * Press the mac key combination to trigger "Show only editor" found in the
View menu.

ACTUAL:
The editor does not open, but the View menu point blinks like it is clicked
(and so does the memory measurement info). But no editor only.

EXPECTED:
To only see the editor like when I manually click the View menu and select
the option with the mouse.

Note that if I open Preferences and keymap, place the mouse in "Search for
Shortcuts" and press the key combination the editor shifts between only editor
mode and normal mode like it should. But outside this dialog it does not work.

I did reproduce this bug just once but I can't anymore. Reporter, any special steps to reproduce? Can you reproduce the problem after IDE restore and/or with a clean user dir?
