ide log
I already had attached the stacktrace from the IDE log that was caused by this error. I now have also attached the full log. (In reply to Tomas Zezula from comment #3) > Please can you attach netbeans log file > http://wiki.netbeans.org/FaqLogMessagesFile The problem is gone after clearing the settings in application support... So you may close it from my side. (In reply to maxnitribitt from comment #6) > The problem is gone after clearing the settings in application support... So > you may close it from my side. That sounded too easy. The problem is back, after I switched to JDK 7 u40. If I use 7 u25 everything is fine. I'm changing this to P2, since there's a workaround (switching to an older version of the JDK), but it's impractical, because the fonts look blurred in versions before 7 u40, and the affected feature (creating a project) is essential. This is most probable duplicate of issue 233144 Just for sure, can you please paste info from the About dialog? Thanks *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 233144 *** Yes, that sounds like the same issue: Product Version: NetBeans IDE 7.3.1 (Build 201306052037) Java: 1.7.0_40-ea; Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 24.0-b54 Runtime: Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment 1.7.0_40-ea-b35 System: Mac OS X version 10.8.5 running on x86_64; US-ASCII; de_DE (nb) User directory: /Users/antonepple/Library/Application Support/NetBeans/7.3.1 Cache directory: /Users/antonepple/Library/Caches/NetBeans/7.3.1 (In reply to Jiri Prox from comment #8) > This is most probable duplicate of issue 233144 > > Just for sure, can you please paste info from the About dialog? > Thanks > > *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 233144 *** Please update to final version of the JDK 1.7 u 40 (build 1.7.0_40-b43) where the problem in the JAXB is already fixed. The problem was in http://hg.openjdk.java.net/jdk7u/jdk7u40/jaxp/diff/4149e4abea17/src/com/sun/org/apache/xerces/internal/jaxp/SAXParserImpl.java which does not check the fSAXParser for null. Joe has fixed the problem in u40 final. This is still an issue for me. JDK/Netbeans current releases installed Oct 11, 2013 into WIN7 running in VMware Fusion 6.0 on an iMac running OS X 10.7 I get one of two errors, if the folder exists, I get a 'folder already exists' error but if it doesn't exist I get a 'cannot create folder' error. In either case, I cannot create a new project. Can you attach messages.log? Please check if you have permission to write to that folder. I've ran into same issue with PHP version of NetBeans on the MacBook Air. Can someone help? @charlie_wasp: Are you _really_ sure that it is the same issue? You have not attached any IDE log or any onformation about your NetBeans and JDK version... Please, report a new issue against PHP instead of reopening the existing one (it is always easy to mark it as a duplicate later). Thanks. Fixed in JDK build 1.7.0_40-b43. Please do not migrate resolved issues among products. It makes hard to track them. If the PHP issues is the same is this Java project issues update to JDK build 1.7.0_40-b43 or newer fixes the problem (http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html). Also be sure that the new JDK is used by Netbeans, you can force it using --jdkhome <path to jdk> or by setting netbeans_jdkhome property in NetBeans/etc/netbeans.conf file. I'm trying to open a new project in Netbeans but nothing happens. I recently installed Fedora 26 in my Laptop and I installed Netbeans but when I try to create a new project nothing happens |
