Are you talking about Variables tab in the Output window below Editor? Or the limited size popup window which shows up when you hover over some variable in the Editor? In the former case you can detach the Variables tab from the IDE using "Float" popup menu action if you right click the tab header. Then you can customize the size of Variables window freely. Few years passed and still no one even looked at this. It is bad enough that in 15 years since WinNT 3.1 with its tiny Environment Variables diaglog of the computer properties was introduced, they have not made it resizable even in Windows Server 2012. But Netbeans is not a Microsoft product and does not have to follow the horrible practice of making dialogs tiny and non-resiable. Especially that the 24-32" LCD monitors are kind of standard today. |
