It only happens using Dark Nimbus. Dark Metal works. See screenshot.
Seems that the DarkNimbus theme defines a wrong default foreground color for JLists. core-main cbcb8ba401e0 Integrated into 'main-silver', will be available in build *201307312300* on http://bits.netbeans.org/dev/nightly/ (upload may still be in progress) Changeset: http://hg.netbeans.org/main-silver/rev/cbcb8ba401e0 User: S. ACTUAL: dark fg-color on dark bg-color - See the screenshot EXPECTED: light fg-color (f.e. white) on dark bg-color Light color on dark bg-color for selected lines works in other light-color LAFs and in other IDEs, so why don't do the same?
