Well I assume that the purpose of this action is to open not yet opened project so if you invoke the action on one of the top nodes it won't do anything because that project is already opened. You can use this action in case that there is another project inside of the top level project folder e.g. in netbeans module application. Would it be possible to switch to projects view and select the already open project in that case? That would be a useful addition IMHO, especially if you end up with as many open projects as I usually do. :) We can definitely propose it as enhancement to Projects/Generic Projects UI (owner of the action) Thanks! :D This old bug may not be relevant anymore.
