Description karmaflute 2013-06-04 01:16:03 UTC
I have a habit of saving my files frequently and because I switch between many different applications on a daily basis, I always reactively "save" whenever I think there was a change (whether a change was made or not).

For example, I make several modifications, then end up undoing back to the unmodified document; I reactively "save" the file because I "made changes" even though no changes were actually reflected.

Because Netbeans does not recognize any actual changes to the file, it sends a "ding!" to my speakers telling me that no changes were made. I don't need to know that.. either no changes were made or the file was saved and is therefore in the same state regardless.

This unnecessary "ding!" is driving me absolutely insane. It's like Netbeans shouts "idiot!" every time I try to save like this. It's driving me bat-crazy.
