This bug was originally marked as duplicate of bug 190077, that is already resolved. This bug is still valid, so this seems to be another bug, but it might be related.

Build: NetBeans IDE 7.3 (Build 201302132200)
VM: Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM, 23.7-b01, Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment, 1.7.0_13-b20
OS: Linux

User Comments:
sindisil: I used ctrl+shift+alt+o to jump to a C function.

The dialog was responsive, but, when I hit enter to jump, the Swing thread hung. I saw a single thread railed at 100% cpu (I've taken to leaving top -H running in a console lately), but I'm unsure *which* thread was railed.

Additional data point: I had attempted search in the navigator first (i.e. ctrl+7, start typing), but it was slow, so I hit claw-o instead, since that tends to be quick.



Maximum slowness yet reported was 37645 ms, average is 37645

Not really sure what's going on here but perhaps the global action context doesn't have to listen to focus changes when modal dialog window is showing...
