Could you please attach also your messages.log from the IDE session when cannot read results? Thanks http://wiki.netbeans.org/FaqLogMessagesFile Created attachment 129830 [details]
add the messages.log stored in D:\Program Files\NetBeans 7.3 Beta 2\nb\var\log
I use the "Oracle Thin" for Oracle connexion
Curiously in the Oracle Client...
I find
Driver file(s) is for
D:\app\Billy\product\11.2.0\client_1\sqldeveloper\jdbc\lib\ojdbc5.jar
the edition is 5
If I try with the Instant Client, the edition is 6
but there is no change in the behaviour.
You've attached incorrect log; requested one should be in your userdir. See http://wiki.netbeans.org/FaqLogMessagesFile and attach correct one (something like C:\Users\joe\AppData\Roaming\NetBeans\7.2\var\log\messages.log) , thanks. I'm sorry, I cannot reproduce the bug. Both Oracle Thin and Oracle OCI (in file instantclient-basic-windows.x64-11.2.0.3.0.zip from http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/topics/winx64soft-089540.html) work fine for me. I haven't seen the bug with any other driver yet. Can you please try the same driver (11.2.0.3) for your operation system? Important question, does the View Data action work correctly with other databases, e.g. Derby? Thank you. Hello, I can't access the log file as described in your panel. May be there is a bug in the desinstallation process...or installation process... What I have done is: A) Installation of Netbeans 7.2 B) Installation of Netbeans 7.3 Beta C) De_Installation of Netbeans 7.2 So after I don't find the log directory installed in C:\Documents and Settings\User\.... So I don't know from what step, the problem on the log has started. I always install my netbeans software on D: Disk (on windows XP SP3). So the First thing to do is to fix my installation problem to have correct directory and file log... What do you see if you run NB 7.3 Beta and invoke in menu Help | About? There should be item "User directory" which should be existing folder. Under user directory will be var\log\messages.log (In reply to comment #6) > Hello, > I can't access the log file as described in your panel. > > May be there is a bug in the desinstallation process...or installation > process... > > What I have done is: > > A) Installation of Netbeans 7.2 > B) Installation of Netbeans 7.3 Beta > > C) De_Installation of Netbeans 7.2 > > So after I don't find the log directory installed in C:\Documents and > Settings\User\.... > > So I don't know from what step, the problem on the log has started. > > I always install my netbeans software on D: Disk (on windows XP SP3). > > So the First thing to do is to fix my installation problem to have correct > directory and file log... zip of the copy of log directory from C:\Documents and Settings\Billy\Application Data\NetBeans\7.3beta2\var
You are right for the log file...
I found it in
C:\Documents and Settings\Billy\Application Data\NetBeans\7.3beta2\var
directory
Billy is the user Name...
So I try again the operation on database at January 3, 2013 11:38:50 PM CET
there is a message "INFO [org.netbeans.libs.svnclientadapter]: Javahl client adapter is not available
Failed to load JavaHL Library.
"
what does'it mean?

Last snapshot of used drivers
I use D:\app\Billy\product\11.2.0\client_1\sqldeveloper\jdbc\lib\ojdbc5.jar
in Drivers node as shown in last joined snapshot
Is it the right item?
Do I need OCI too?
My PC is a toshiba tecra M5 with 3 Go Ram (X86 Intel dual core).
with XP SP3.
(In reply to comment #9) > I use D:\app\Billy\product\11.2.0\client_1\sqldeveloper\jdbc\lib\ojdbc5.jar > in Drivers node as shown in last joined snapshot. Thank you. I tested the same driver and it worked well for me. > Is it the right item? Yes. > Do I need OCI too? No, I tested OCI because in the bug description you said that your connection URL is jdbc:oracle:oci8:@localhost:1521:XE[billy on BILLY]. If you execute the statement manually ("Run SQL" button, Ctrl-Shift-E), are the data shown correctly? Other databases (Derby, MySQL) work well for you? (In reply to comment #8) > There is a message "INFO [org.netbeans.libs.svnclientadapter]: Javahl client > adapter is not available > Failed to load JavaHL Library. > what does'it mean? I don't know, but is probably not related to this bug. (In reply to comment #10) > (In reply to comment #9) > If you execute the statement manually ("Run SQL" button, Ctrl-Shift-E), are the > data shown correctly? > > Other databases (Derby, MySQL) work well for you? I found a suspicious place in Billy's log - INFO [org.netbeans.modules.db.sql.editor.SQLEditorProviderImpl]: No SQLExecuteCookie found for org.netbeans.modules.cnd.source.HDataObject@1c0b18e[MultiFileObject@13a4600[Databases/SQLCommands/SQL Command 40.sql]] It seems as .sql extension is registered for other data loader than SQL Editor Loader, it means no SQL executor is called for handle the SQL command. Billy, could you review registration of extentions in your IDE (Tools|Options|Misc|Files)? Or temporary Deactivate C/C++ support (use Tools|Plugins) or simply do another installation of IDE and choose smaller distribution (e.g.http://bits.netbeans.org/download/trunk/nightly/latest/start.html?platform=windows&lang=en&option=javase) it try it again? Thanks > (In reply to comment #8) > > There is a message "INFO [org.netbeans.libs.svnclientadapter]: Javahl client > > adapter is not available > > Failed to load JavaHL Library. > > what does'it mean? > I don't know, but is probably not related to this bug. Right, it's not important here. Created attachment 129918 [details]

snapshot of cygwin removal
I can't remove Cygwin attachment (button "remove"is not accessible)
"Restore Default" only set Encoding "ISO-8859-1" unto "UTF_8"
well...
Must I clean all the solution and re-install completely netbeans?
You don't need to remove Cygwin at all. Please read carefully jrechtacek's comment 11 : Go to Tools | Plugins. Choose Installed tab, select C/C++, push Deactivate button.
