In the "choose project" panel, the last used project category is remembered but not the last used project type for that category. This would be pretty convenient since you often favor certain project types. This is especially useful for Maven projects, because seasoned Maven users usually have custom archetypes, so 99% the time they need the "from archetype" project type.
