Description Sakthivel Gopal 2002-04-10 23:25:43 UTC
Tried to add a 3rd party module (Struts Console) to the
IDE at Tools->Options->IDE COnfiguration -> Modules ; on
Popup chose Add -> Module and selected console.jar using
the Browse/File Chooser.
The Frame status bar says "turning off modules" and
then "turining on modules ...done".
It was not sure if the newly selected module has been
added to the IDE.

Suggested that : IDE gives proper message
saying "...Installed".
* Also, the newly installed module goes under "web" node
can't we expand and highlight the newly added module --
that would make visibly clear that the module is added.
There are numerous modules like these and there should be
lot of users using 2rd party modules on FFJ/NetBeans --
this would enhance the usability

Passing to the module subcomponent.
Comment 2 Jesse Glick 2002-04-12 15:21:35 UTC
Re. #1 - probably need some different wording, but no other change.

Re. #2 - not really feasible currently, need #7551 implementation to
do that.
