Product Version = NetBeans IDE 7.2 (Build 201206291011)
Operating System = Windows 7 version 6.1 running on x86
Java; VM; Vendor = 1.7.0_05
Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 23.1-b03

Trying to package as NBM stalls. Checking the task manager I noticed a pack200 process running (for no apparent reason since I'm not building installer). Killing it lets the process finish.

It's intentional. pack200 is used for reducing size of NBM archives for long time ago.

But why it locks in my case? The IDE just stalls there until the process is killed.

Maybe an important detail is that I have to run the IDE as an administrator. Not sure if it has something to do. Right now the IDE has stalled for 5 minutes in my case on the nbm task.

Works for me if I run IDE as Administrator. I'm afraid we cannot fix your problem. Reopen if you find any new circumstances. Thanks
