I guess this is more related to Maven than to the editor. Files created through DataObject.createFromTemplate are passed through the appropriate formatter, AFAIK, but when a file is created by other means, it is the responsibility of the code that creates it to pass it through the formatter (see editor.indent), IMO. Thanks. we use maven archetypes to create new projects. Some have privileged position and their own wizard entry but most are just entries in the list in the Project from Archetype wizard. related to issue 208462, however neither solves what to do with the rest of the archetypes. This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue. Thanks for your cooperation, NetBeans IDE 8.2 Release Boss |
