difficult to read main menu on default Ubuntu 12.04

Created attachment 121121 [details] difficult to read main menu on default Ubuntu 12.04 I installed Ubuntu 12.04 with default settings, then cloned NB from trunk, built and run. See the attachment for what I got, main menu items are almost unrecognizable. I remember the system color scheme looked the same in Ubuntu 11.10 but I do not remember any difficulties reading NB menus. Actually I seem to remember that the change between 11.10 and 12.04 might be in the display of application menus - in 11.10 they were displayed in Mac style on top of the screen, now this is not the case...
