JQuery code assist currently requires a local jquery file for it to work, but that is pretty inconvenient. If a developer uses the Google CDN or the JQuery website for a remote reference, then it's totally unnecessary. Almost every other IDE supports JQuery code completion/assist without a local reference to the library.
