Sometimes it’s not possible to select some items in context menus cause they are displayed out off the screen.
To reproduce:
1. Open some file
2. Right-click the file tab in editor
3. Mouse-over a menu item with many children (I my case it’s “Subversion”)
4. Submenu will appear with some items out of the top of the screen.

My screen resolution is 2732×768 (two displays with 1366×768)
OS. Ubuntu Oneric

Product Version = NetBeans IDE 7.1 (Build 201112071828)
Operating System = Linux version 3.0.0-15-generic running on amd64
Java; VM; Vendor = 1.7.0_147-icedtea
Runtime = OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM 21.0-b17

Reassigning to Standa for evaluation (sorry if it is not in your scope, please re-assign in that case). Do we have upper pixel size bound on menu heights ? The height of 768 is common in current displays and menus should fit in it or be displayed in multi-column..
