This is consistent with the rest of the Netbeans implementation.
Specifically with JavaBeans and JSP. Not a bug

Really, are you sure that it's consistent ? 
Please see section 8.2 in
http://ui.netbeans.org/docs/nbui_styleguide/style_guide.html, 

and try behaviour of wizards. 
BTW. JSP and JavaBeans wizards select the <default> name too, so what
are you talking about in your comment ?

Could this one be fixed ? I do think that fix should be really
simple(I suppose that when it works in every other wizard that it's
simple).
Maybe it would be nice to have it fixed to 3.3.2...
