On my Mac/Snow Leopard, the NetBeans installer puts Tomcat within the NetBeans installation location itself - which I think is good. But on Windows, the installer uses "C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Apache Tomcat 7.0.6".

This is a little problematic or misleading in my view: The actual stand-alone Tomcat installer uses as default "C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat 7.0". So the "naive" user could mistakingly think that the Tomcat installed with NetBeans is a complete installation but it is not since e.g. the native libraries are (correctly) not integrated or the service configuration tool is missing also. (On the other hand, the startup scripts not present in the Tomcat service installer come with the NetBeans instllation.)

Thus, I would opt to put the installation of Tomcat inside the actual NetBeans installation location and also mark the Tomcat item in the list of installed programs clearly as installed by NetBeans.
