Bug 194919

Summary: The editor needs to show the version control and local history menus when available

Description _ wadechandler 2011-01-31 16:05:59 UTC
Currently, the editor tab or the file icon in the project or files view must be clicked on to see these menus. This requires me to move my mouse over to a specific point. It is a drain on productivity. When working in the text, I should be able to use a control key sequence or the mouse right click and see this information readily and that also makes it obvious versus the tab action.

I was torn between whether this is an enhancement or a defect since it is on the tab instead, but figure it is an enhancement even if it is very painful at the moment.
