This would be like "Maximize Window" (Shift+Esc), but would "maximize" only in the vertical dimension. Only windows below (or above) the editor area would be minimized, while windows on the left and right would be kept open. With screens nowadays getting wider and wider (or rather lower and lower), this would be useful for toggling the windows below the editor, but still maintain the Projects/Files/etc. windows on the left (and possibly right) so that the left editor margin stays the same. |
