[ BUILD # : 00246ce3f6fb ]
[ JDK VERSION : 1.6.20 ]

It is not possible now define the connection name directly when you are
creating it. It was a NetFIX fix and looks like the refactoring for 7.0 removed
this option. Now it is possible to do this just after connection creating by
properties view what is not intuitive for users who don't know about it.

This change in UI is intentional within simplification of New Connection Dialog (based on a proposal of UI team). Anyway, to make changing of display name of connection more easy, I've integrated standard Rename feature (including in-place editing on F2 shortcut). I believe it's a suitable replacement.

Comment 3 Michel Graciano 2010-11-23 15:42:15 UTC
I agree with you this is a suitable replacement even thinking that a possibility to define it directly at connection creation is better.
