Description nag.rajan 2010-09-28 06:32:41 UTC
I use the white text on black background (Norway Today) in the C/C++ environment in NetBeans 6.9.1 (I have not tested other versions), setting the Options -> Fonts & Colors -> Syntax -> (language C++) -> Mark Occurrences -> Background = "any user selected color" does not persist.

The setting automatically reverts itself after sometime to the original yellowish background which is terrible on the black background, making it impossible to see the highlighted text. I am not sure what triggers the color change but it happens within 15-20 seconds. The setting in the options page is still the user selected color, but the editor uses the yellow (so something is changing the color under the carpet).

I had to disable the highlighting completely as a workaround for now.

can you check 7.0, please? It works fine for me.

Thanks
Vladimir
