Hi,

I recently (about 2 days ago) tried to install the nightly build scala plugin as described on wiki.netbeans.org/Scala. On Windows that worked well. Some hours later I tried to install it on the same version of Netbeans on MacOs which made netbeans crash on Mac completly. Netbeans claims that it is missing all plugins now and lets you choose exit or disable. In both cases netbeans doesnt start up anymore. At first i thought its mac specific. so i tried it again on a windows machine. Finally i figured out that the same effect is also present on windows now. I could figure out that the first install which worked installed a plugin that the scala kit depends on in version 2.8.x while it now is updated to 2.9. In my opinion that new 2.9 plugin is damaged. Unfortunatly I dont know hot to get the old 2.8.x version which seemed to work. I reported the issue here as the contact on the wiki page seems to be out of date.
