Description arnold_spence 2010-08-12 15:35:27 UTC
After changing the shortcut for "Run Project" from the default F6 to Shift-F6 via the keymap settings, the Menu and toolbar tips still display F6 as the shortcut to use.

The previously existing shortcut Shift-F6 (Run file) was cleared prior to assigning it to "Run Project".

Although the menu was still displaying F6 as the shortcut for "Run Project", Shift-F6 worked as it should.

I am not really sure where this report belongs - whether it is platform/Actions or something under projects (or elsewhere). But I am almost certain that this is not for editor ... Reassigning.

not sure what changed, but when I tried in current dev build (on macosx, one project selected, no main project) it was working properly.

please note that I've changed the Run Main project action, not Run Project in the keyboard shortcuts dialog.
