I use Swedish keyboard, which works fine except for the characters which 
have been moved to places requiring the alt or apple key to be pressed 
first, such as hard and curly brackets. These chacartes I cannot type at all, 
unless I switch keyboard layout. They work in the JEP application, and in 
all other java applications I have tried.

My guess is that there is some clash with the short-cut handling.

Perhaps I could have lived with it if it had been some insignificant 
character like circumflex or hash, but curly brackets...

I think this is a known problem on MacOS X.  thurka and editor guys
probably have more to say...

See issue #11477 for mre information and workaroud. The patch for 
Netbeans 3.3 should also work with FFJ 3.0.
