Description Petr Jiricka 2010-07-15 08:48:49 UTC
1. Download the zip distribution of WebLogic and unpack it
2. In the IDE, launch the Add Server Instance wizard
3. In the Server Location step, enter this WebLogic location

The wizard displays error "The entered installation directory is not properly structured". The problem is that a domain does not exist - it would be useful to provide a way to create a domain, which would allow the user to proceed.

Screenshot of WLS registration dialog when there is no domain

Currently, if the domain does not exist, the IDE displays a dialog with and error message advising the user to enter a valid domain directory. However, the respective field is read-only so the domain can not be entered manually. See the attached screenshot.
