IDE left sidebar

On the left sidebar (see attached screenshot), if I right mouse clicked on the sidebar then a context menu would appear showing relevant options from the current 'Windows' menu. If I selected 'Classes' then that would then be added to the sidebar.

This is a bit more intuitive.

I think polishing the IDE with little improvements like this really makes it shine. I'm already extremely impressed, but why not make it even better :)

reassigning to HIE team for evaluation
Comment 3 Ondrej Langr 2010-05-12 07:53:48 UTC
Agreed from HIE, good enhancement!

A little tricky will be how to automatically determine which windows are relevant .. to avoid listing all available windows in the menu.

Can we include it in plans for next release?
Comment 4 Ondrej Langr 2010-05-12 07:58:01 UTC
How to determine windows to be listed in the contextual menu:

All windows which are by default opened in given group + windows which were moved to that group from somewhere else by the particular user ...

Set target-milestone of open issue to TBD (was < 7.3, f.e. 6.8), so the issue doesn't get lost.

Set target-milestone of open issue to TBD (was < 7.3, f.e. 6.8), so the issue
doesn't get lost. This time the target milestone is really set.
