To apply it into openide.nodes sources we need real patch, with documentation and also some unit tests to see what shall be the actual behaviour. Created attachment 94488 [details] Improved AbstractCheckabckeNode Hi, One colleague of mine had to use checkable nodes on a RCP built on NetBeans 6.5. We took one class from NetBeans and improved it, I think it is the same used when selecting modules dependencies. I'll add it as an attachment I hope it is useful to improve NetBeans
