I was doing a subversion commit in NetBeans.  I selected our interal JIRA issue tracker, and it listed the ticket I was working on in the next dropdown list. I selected it, then checked the "Resolve as FIXED" checkbox.  I completed the commit, then noticed two things:

1) The open ticket tab in NetBeans did not show the status change. It still said In Progress.

2) Using the JIRA web app, I looked at the ticket and saw it was still In Progress

I am using NetBeans 6.8 RC2 on OpenSolaris

Could not reproduce. Are you able to resolve the issue when you open it in IDE and update the status manually? Anything printed to the message log?

When you are committing another fix and closing another issue, could you please:
- start ide with -J-Dorg.netbeans.modules.jira.Jira.level=100
- commit changes and resolve the issue
- then attach the message log (userdir/.netbeans/version/var/log/message.log)

closing as works for me. feel free to reopen in case you should be able to reproduce with an actual build
