Description crummydo 2009-02-23 04:55:23 UTC
Hello, I opened my IDE today to start my homework for friday and found that the UML palette is full of options that say
"Unreckognized file". I just used it yesterday to complete the UML tutorial you guys offer and it worked just fine. Now
all of a sudden its not working properly. Even if I open the project I did yesterday, the palette is all messed up. I
unistalled, then reinstalled the UML plugin and restarted my PC. No change. I will upload a screenshot.

was there any crash of netbeans? did you try to remove netbeans home? can you try to uninstall uml and install from
http://www.netbeans.org/downloads/zip.html?

There was no crash. Worked the night before, then when I opened NB the next day... poof! I will try the zip file. I did
however Uninstall NetBeans entirely, then Reinstall it, get the UML plugin again, but still nothing.
Comment 4 Sergey Petrov 2009-02-25 17:02:34 UTC
can you attach netbeans message.log?
Comment 5 crummydo 2009-02-25 20:52:27 UTC
I will send that when I get home, but shouldn't everything work okay after I completely uninstall Netbeans, remove the
files from the hard drive, then install a fresh and brand new copy? The log file would only be as old as last night now.

it seems it doesb't work as expected, so hard to answer.
did you remove netbeans home when after uninstallation? did you remove installation folder?
also I'm not sure but there may be something somwhere in temps, so may be disk clean-up (on win xp) with removal of
temporary files may help).

Got the same here.
System ist Vista 32bit, Service Pack 2, Java 1.6 Update 13, German Lang., Netbeans 6.5.

I've also tried to reinstall UML Plugin multiple times.
