Note: the NBMs have to be digitally signed before staging. NBMs were signed and staged on the UC for Sun Studio 12 Roberte, it looks like zh_CN Update Center contains English descriptions. See desc8 in issue 155124 for details. http://testwww.netbeans.org/updates/sunstudio/sunstudio12/zh_CN/catalog.xml I've manually updated the catalog to contain Chinese descriptions. Though the catalog generator app still needs to be fixed for zh_CN locale. Thank you for your updates. I've conformed IDE display translated module information by connecting production server. However, I've realized Sun Studio 12 has an issue to access translated catalog.xml. (Please see Sun Studio internal bug #6790465 for detail). When catalog.xml include translated strings, Sun Studio 12 can not parse it in various environments *(it works only in UTF-8 environment). Since it was the first time to locate translated catalog.xml for Sun Studio, we did realize this issue before. Would you please copy English catalog.xml for both Chinese and Japanese Sun Studio 12 update center? I think it's better to access English description than the user can not access. Thank you. Keiichi Robert, please proceed with solution suggested by Keiichi. It is now available on the staging. I believe, this request was already accomplished and modules are live. |
