System: Windows Vista version 6.0 running on x86; Cp1252; en_US (nb)

repro steps:
- make sure you have another python installed on your system
- bring up platform manager and make sure there are at least 2 platforms listed
- remove a platform. Now the next platform is selected but the text fields in the Main tab for the selected platform on
the right are blank. They should be displayed with the info for the selected platform.
