Hi!

I love using netbeans. This editor is sky-rocketing into great places. It is truly an editor to be reckoned with. It is
very clear that the people who are developing know there thing, however I would like to give my opinion as an outside. I
whole-heartedly believe that other people may be griped by this too, however never had the motivation to create an issue.

Not to sound too opinionated, but I feel that shrinking the padding around these widgets would create more screenspace
and result in a much cleaner, tighter UI.

I don't know if people have mentioned this before, however a gripe with a lot of java UI's is the bulky widgets. The
padding is overdone, and in so many places, it swallows up screen real estate on a notebook like no one's business.

It seems to be related to look and feel you use. What L&F do you use?

*Doesn't* change padding, just color schemes, at least when I used it. (6.5 RC 2)

"core" could you please evaluate?
