We do not support this functionality yet but we definitely want to do so. I'm changing the issue to enhancement. Target milestone -> 3.3.1. Set target milestone to TBD Changing subcomponent to clipboard. This is a duplicate of issue 2237. I will increase priority of 2237 because this issue has 2 votes. As discussed today we may implement this enhancement in next release. *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 2337 *** Sorry, but this is _not_ the same as 2337. I shouldn't have used the wrod "drag" as it seems to cause confusion. 2337 refers to dragging a selection as in "drag and drop". I meant "drag" as extension of a selection. Specifically: - double click to select a word - or triple-click to select a line. - _without_ lifting the mouse button, move and extend the selection by word or by line. The Swing textedit will complete a word or line selection once you let got of the button as opposed to on the press. Moving to the 'other' subcomponent. This should be marked as a duplicate of issue 89607, which I think more clearly describes the problem. *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 89607 *** |
